We’re celebrating at Standing Dog. No, it’s not because our new website is up (but you should go check it out if you haven’t) but because we’ve gotten some great news: we’ve received five awards in the last few weeks.
The most recent awards come from San Francisco, where our own Litany Brown traveled to the American Business Awards. There, Standing Dog won three Stevie Awards. Event Cinema’s Facebook Page earned Best Facebook Page and a (very heavy) Gold Stevie award. The Napa Valley Marriott’s Website won a Silver Stevie Award in the Hospitality and Leisure category, while the Event Cinemas Frozen Coke Facebook App received a Bronze Stevie in the Entertainment category.
The Stevie Awards started in 2002 and honor “positive contributions of organizations and business people worldwide.” Each submission is judged by executives around the nation, and only the very best entries are awarded with a Stevie.
We’re also celebrating two recent wins at the Web Marketing Association’s 2012 WebAward competition. Both the Vendue Inn and the Sheraton Lake Buena Vista Resort received a Hotel and Lodging Standard of Excellence designation for web development and design.
The WebAwards competition began in 1997 to establish a standard for websites. Judging 96 different industries, the WebAwards invites the best online advertisers, PR gurus and Internet marketers to rank websites.
With our recent recognition on Inc. 5000’s Fastest Growing Companies list for a third year in a row, things have never been better at Standing Dog. We’re excited about the results from these competitions. A big shout out to everyone who helped make these awards happen: our great clients, our hardworking employees and the fine folks running the Web Marketing Association and American Business Awards.
If you’d like, leave us some love in the comments section below. And if you’re interested in some award-winning work of your own, be sure to contact us and send us an RFP, which you can do on our shiny new website!
